Work location: Ulaanbaatar  

Role purpose:

Dedicated roles established to undertake the programs and initiatives stated in 3 Pillars of National procurement strategy map, as per approved by the OT’s Board of Directors in March 2017.
Primary responsibility of this role is to simplify our process while improving integrity of it and to ensure proper information are being shared to various stakeholders

General requirements:

  • Postgraduate or equivalent education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.                                                                                         
  • Advanced degree in business and/or social sciences                                           
  • Minimum of 5 year experience in related field
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience within Mongolia
  • Good knowledge of the Mongolian and international economic/ supply chain climate and emerging supply community challenges/ opportunities,
  • Working experience government and private sector in related field is preferred.                          

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the continuous improvement activities to simplify our process while improving the integrity
  • Support the continuous improvement of Oyu database
  • Lead the pre-qualification and contractor maturity programs under leader's guidance
  • Develop various analytical works and reports for various OT procurement activities to ensure continuos improvement
  •  Develop various report and reporting mechanisms to suit the needs of stakeholders such as Government of Mongolia, RT/ TRQ/ EOT, aimag and other legislations.
  • Able to understand & communicate academic & qualification relevant content in more cognitively complex ways;
  •  Able to write with increasing length, complexity & abstraction using academic & professional vocabulary & consistent grammatical structures.                                                       

Role duration: 5 months from the start date
